Hi Reed, Thanks for the hint with the Automated Transmit Gain Calibration. This solved my issue as well! 73, Michael DG3NAB __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
[Elecraft] KX2: Transmit Power 10m Band
Hi Peter, I was using a different laptop with a its own mail app & for some reason the text didn't show up. I just sent Michael an email with the info he needed to get his KX2 to work on 10 meters. For those that have this problem with their KX2 not transmitting full output on 10 meters just do the Automated Transmit Gain Calibration on page 39 of the manual. 73,Reed W4JZ __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com

[Elecraft] KX2: Transmit Power 10m Band
Elecraft KX2: If I set the transmit power to 10W on the 10m band, it seems that the output power is 0W if I try to send. At least the RF power display does not display anything. Same with 9.8W. If I set the value to 9.6W (or lower) then everything is back to normal. This does only happen on 10m, all other bands are fine with the 10W power setting. Is this a known bug or is something wrong on my side?
