Dick, Wayne, Many thanks. Thanks to Dick's explanation below, the Problem is solved. Amateur Contact Log now reads and controls the KX3 regardless of PA Mode on/off. The solution was to manually set the KX3 baud rate to 38.4 and set AC log to that as well. Previously, AC Log and the KX3 were communicating at 4800 Baud. My KXPA100 arrived yesterday. It's a great amp and very easy to setup and use. I have one unexpected issue though. Set up is PC connected via KUSB to the KXPA100, KXPA100 connected by KXPACBL to the KX3, and latest firmware on both. When PA Mode is set to on, Amateur Contact log cannot read or set anything (e.g., frequency or mode) on the KX3. When PA Mode is set to off, all works as expected. Is this a known issue or might I have something configured incorrectly?
