Hi Glenn, I did something else for that purpose; I created a small pigs tail with a two pin female connector and a 6.3 mm female stereo connector at the other end for my straight key and plug the paddle in the key connector at the left side. In the setup I set the side connector to normal iambic and the front connector to HAND so I can use both without any switching at all. The rightmost 2 vertically oriented pins in the hole that is used to connect the portable paddle, are to be used in that case. The small connector was salvaged from some junk-box-PCB and sealed with shrink-tube.
