I just received a new KXPD2 paddle from Elecraft. In the envelope was a loose, extra spring with no documentation as to its purpose. Does anyone know if the extra spring is the same as the original or is it some kind of tension adjustment like the three different springs that came with the KXPD3?
Also there are now two allen screws per paddle one to set the adjustment and one to lock it in. All the documentation I could find showed only the one adjustment screw per paddle. I did email Elecraft support about the spring but no answer yet.
