Re: [Elecraft] Open Mic Inside The Radio?

I forgot to mention that I can receive stations and have the mic on the front of the radio working fine. It stays hot all the time inside the radio. -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/Open-Mic-Inside-The-Radio--tp1143356p1143357.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Re: [Elecraft] Open Mic Inside The Radio?
Do you see the red TX light on? If so, you are in transmit and the monitor volume is too high. Perhaps something has closed your PTT circuit. I could also suspect an RF Feedback problem. Give us more details about the state and conditions under which you observe this. Is it really frequency dependent? 73, Don W3FPR -.-. --.-N3TU -.-. --.- wrote: Anyone have this problem with an open mic inside the radio?
