[Elecraft] QST: CW vs Text Message Contest on NBC's Tonight Show Friday
Posting this because of the CW component. Hi All, Christie K0IU at HRO Burbank just informed me that Chip K7JA (Yaesu) and a traffic handler friend will be competing on NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno against a pair of cellphone text messengers to see who can transmit a message the fastest. According to Christie the competition will be airing tomorrow night (Friday May 13th). This was confirmed by Chip's wife Janet KL7MF who was manning the other cash register at HRO this afternoon.
