Hi Everyone, I was killing time browsing the magazine rack at the Barnes and Noble in the mall last night waiting for the XYL to finish up some shopping when I saw a familiar face staring back at me! There on the cover of the September issue of Popular Communications was a photo of Jerry Parker WA6OWR.
Besides being a QRP'er, Jerry was the web designer and maintainer of the first NorCal QRP Club web site and I believe he still designs and maintains some other QRP related web pages. His efforts are a great contribution to QRP activities and have certainly helped sell a lot of NorCal and other radio kits. It has been a while since I've seen him and he is looking good. Maybe he will make the trip up from Paso Robles and join us at Pacificon this fall.
