I have been operating my K2 for just under a year now. In that time I ALWAYS have left the PRESELECTOR on and the RF Gain up all the way. I should have known better, but in case there is someone else in the group who has done likewise, here's a tip:

Under high QRM or adjacent channel interference, don't be afraid to turn off PRESELECTOR or even use the ATTENUATOR. Both are extremely effective in bringing a sig up out of the noise...as is decreasing RF gain.

I know most everyone knows this but it took me a year to try it so I thought I'd pass it along.

It's just one more way to appreciate how the K2 "sings"...a truly great RCVR design.
