It is OK to make a silly mistake. Just not good if it is too often.. If one never makes a mistake then one is never doing anything. Worse is not admitting to a mistake. You Should give Glenn a call at US Interface, as he was the best MixW distributer around. He has helped me get my K3 set up with MixW and his interface as well as the RigExpert interface. Hello Gary, I had problems wetting up at first also. Here are my settings, In mixw I have the cat set to Kenwood...model to elecraft k2.. my com port is set to #1 and baud rate is "38400" same as rig. Have ptt "via cat command" checked afsk in place of fsk checked. In the sound card "device is computer soundcard." Then in input I have "mic" (soundcard name) "output speakers" (soundcard name) I have the sample rate at 1200 becuase I am using winkey...usually its at 11025.. If I remember right. also have "full duplex" checked. On the rig I have data mode "afsk a " "rts-dtr" is set in the menu. and "mic sel" is Line in... Hope this helps..
