Still doesn't help us hicks who talk with strange accents. How about 
posting a wav file on the company web site? We could listen to it on our 
epods and practice the correct pronunciation while taking the bus to 
work! Hey... epod - now there's an interesting product idea!

Phil, I think you have the right pronunciation.

I've always heard it pronounced with three syllables, as if it were formed
from the concatenation of ele from elegant and craft from
craftsmanship.

I've talked with the founders, and whenever I've heard them say Elecraft,

Heh, heh

From whatever parts, in whatever dialect, the Ele is pronounced exactly
like the Ele in elegant and craft is pronounced exactly like craft. 

Of course that does not mean it sounds the same everywhere :-)
