The latest firmware for the K3 is 3.68 released on Dec 11. It's always a good idea to update to the latest version if you experience a problem, as it may already have been fixed. I'm not aware of any recent issue affecting audio drive levels in DATA A, but I can tell you that I can drive my K3 to 4 bars of ALC and beyond using the latest firmware. - Julian, G4ILO. I am adjusting the gain via the mic controlkeeping the SignalLink USB constant. I can also set the mic control to like 40...and vary the input on the SignalLink USB. Same thing.
