Are you using FSK-D data mode? That is the only RTTY data mode that
accepts ASCII input via the KY; command.

The TT1 TT0 commands work which is neat and programming the macros works
also. Might I have missed something specific to RTTY and KY;? I've got the
latest manual and the developers reference.
