I guess I am fortunate not to have never a problem with the TX output
power, always I have seen 110 W on CW and 110W PEP on SSB on all bands,my
wattmeters are BIRD and the one inside the PalStar tuner which both agree in
same reading,I adjusted the power calibration trough the Utilities and it
showed 5.1 and 50W always,mine is serial 2192.
In 10 months of use, only problem I have had is the volumen and rf gain plastic
knobs were broken twice and Elecraft replaced then quick, other than that my K3
never fails and I use it daily on CW and SSB,sometimes also on digital modes.
AD4C
For a refined ham it is compulsory to own a k3

I have K-3 2746. Running the current firmware 3.41 etc. I have not seen
100w output from this radio ever. I hooked up my cantenna and ran the
tx gain through the k-3 utility and get the following numbers for tx
gain along with the corresponding power output ...
How are you measuring the power output?
