[elinks-users] I am going to unsubscribe from this mailing list...

... since my issue was resolved and the daily stable snapshot build had
the fixes and they worked, I can unsubscribe myself from the wonderful
mailing list. E-mail me if you need to reach me. Until then, I will be
back if I have problems or questions with eLinks (maybe on Mac OS X
10.2.8 [grin]). ;)

I assume it is in
http://elinks.or.cz/download/elinks-current-unstable.tar.gz ...

I compiled just fine. I haven't tested it much though. =)

This was on a PowerPC. I have not tried compiling in my old PowerBook G4
with its Mac OS X 10.2.8. I won't be able to try it for a while. :(

I did this: "echo > stamph.in" in /home/ant/download/elinks-0.11.3
with today's July 1st, 2007 date. I hope that was OK.

I don't want to get an account for eLink's bugzilla but I did post the
two config files in a zip file: http://www.savefile.com/files/854658 ...

> or attach them to bug 936. And please try compiling this test program:

I edited my elinks-0.11.3/src/util/time.h file with the above
suggestion. The beginning of the file looks like this:

#ifndef EL__UTIL_TIME_H
#define EL__UTIL_TIME_H

#ifdef HAVE_SYS_TYPES_H
#include
int main(void)
{
   return (off_t) 0;
}
#endif
#ifdef HAVE_SYS_TIME_H
#include
#endif
#ifdef HAVE_TIME_H
#include
#endif

typedef long milliseconds_T;
...

I hope that was correct. However, I got errors again:
http://pastebin.ca/598156 ... Again, config files as a zip file if you
need them: http://www.savefile.com/files/854708 ...

I hope they helped. :)

P.S. I hope I can compile this version on my old MacOS X 10.2.8 on an
old PowerBook G4. [grin]

find unix_net.h on my HDD. :(

BTW, the last version I compiled was with v0.10.6 (9/25/2005).

[elinks-users] Control the BitTorrent transfer speed in eLinks v0.11.1?

2006-03-09 Thread Phillip Pi
Hello!

I like the BitTorrent (BT) feature in eLinks. However, I cannot find a way to
control the file
transfer speed. I have a slow Internet connection, and BT loves to use all my
connection in
eLinks. Is there a way to set limits?

Thank you in advance.

I reran make (didn't delete the directory or anything) and no errors this time.
That was VERY
weird.

Anyways, IT WORKED!! 12.5 minutes make compilation according to time command. :)

OK. I will post the last few lines with the error lines then.

OK. Well, this was more of a surprise on a different Debian box. :) My Debian
r3.1 box (Kernel
2.6.14-K7) at home had no problems.

Correct. I didn't want to work on containmented files. :)
