Well, only to the unwrapped lines. ;) You could use Esc to get out of the search dialog, but that will cause the text not to be added to the search history. -- Jonas Fonseca ___ elinks-users mailing list elinks-users@linuxfromscratch.org http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/elinks-users

[elinks-users] Enter following links while searching ahead in text
Hi folks, Sorry to disturb everyone, but there is a behavior in elinks that I find a bit hassling. When you are doing search ahead in text, and you press , you expect the cursor to be focused on that particular word, but elinks seems to follow the nearest link. I think this is actually a spill over of similar behavior in 'search-ahead-in-links', where actually this behavior makes a lot of sense. That is, in search-ahead-in-links, it is actually proper that an will make Elinks load that Url, but this behavior really hurts when you are doing search-ahead-in-text. Especially since normal editors like vim will just focus on the word. The idea when you do a search is mostly for cut and paste, or to read that part of the code. I would like to know if this can be fixed. Most likely it is an oversight and the behavior in the case of 'search-in-links' just spilled over to 'search-in-text', and it would be easy to fix this. Thanks in advance. -- :: Ligesh :: http://ligesh.com ___ elinks-users mailing list elinks-users@linuxfromscratch.org http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/elinks-users
