Note that auto-refilling should already handle this. The thing is that
it outputs something like this:

,
| - [ ] Q2 is a really, really, long Q and needs to be described in
| excruciating detail.
`

Not something like this:

,
| - [ ] Q2 is a really, really, long Q and needs to be described in
| excruciating detail.
`

Which might be seen as more natural. But it's not obvious for me. Do
you think auto-refill should wrap the line like in the second example?

(I'm not speaking about explicit refilling with `M-q' here.)

Personally, I prefer the second example where the text aligns with
text instead of the checkbox. I can live with either. Overall, I'd
just like consistency with indenting. Tab goes to one position, M-q
and auto-fill goes to another. Changing it so tab and auto-fill
agree, but M-q doesn't isn't really an improvement in my eyes. I'd
rather keep auto-fill and M-q the same and have tab be the odd man
out.

[Orgmode] Can't force org-publish-current-project

2007-11-23 Thread Daniel Clemente
   Hi. With org 5.13i,
C-u M-x org-publish-current-project
   or:
C-u C-c C-e P
do not force the publishing (as the manual says).
In contrast, forcing „org-publish-current-file or „org-publish-all works.

   Greets,
Daniel

[Orgmode] Restricting the agenda to the current subtree

2007-11-23 Thread Rick Moynihan
I've just discovered that you can restrict the agenda view to the
current subtree, and I think I'm going to find this very useful!

Firstly is it possible to bind this to a simple key-chord though as I'm
finding

C-a a

A little unwieldy.

Also, how about implementing another follow command, that does the
opposite of following movements in the agenda view and displaying them
in the file. i.e. When enabled it uses the org-goto interface to follow
movements within the file and display the restricted agenda view in
another window.

This could also be coupled with other queries defined in the agenda yet
would narrow their focus to the currently browsed subtree.

I'm not sure if it's a crazy idea or not but I think it might be useful.

R.

I also much prefer the text aligning with the text not the checkbox. In
fact I always seem to end up inserting a tab on the second line to force
the alignment with M-q from then on.

Any way to guarantee this behavior would be an improvement in my eyes.
