Good idea.  

You can now use Org timestamps in the #+DATE line, they will be
converted using the new option `org-export-date-timestamp-format'.

Btw, ODT exporter does this already. 

You can enter a #+DATE: date using C-c . or C-c ! and you will see the
right timestamp under File-Properties-General-Created/Modified
timestamp.
