According to the dates Rainer Krug first reported it at 05:11 on Sep 29; before I sent my message (this thread on Sep 29 at 05:37) ) I checked to see if it had been reported and nothing showed. Kushai apparently sent his report a few hours later. AFIK none of these were on the list for several hours. I checked gmane and the org list as well as my email for any replies. I discovered that the exporter bug had been fixed when I looked at the orgmode git site, so I posted a thank you. Again, at that time I posted, nothing on the list reported the fix had been taken care of, although it is obvious that two hours before I sent that message Nick and Rasmus had posted messages to that effect. Since this morning everything seems fine. Above are just observations, nothing more. Charlie I see that Rasmus has fixed this. Thank you. Did you reload Org? How do you export? Did you try to produce a backtrace? What does that show? Maybe try with minimal settings? Re: [O] Bug ? LaTeX exporter does not export subsections from included files
Hi, I tried with both the old exporter (emacs -Q) and the new. The old one exports correctly on my side, here's the relevant part: #+BEGIN_LaTeX This is Bar. \subsection{Bar 1} \label{sec-2-1} This is Bar's first part. \subsection{Bar 2} \label{sec-2-2} And here is the second one. #+END_LaTeX I think the behaviour in the new exporter has been changed to a better: The included trees are changed in depth according to the structure they are imported to, so with the new exporter the included file should start at level1 as well, e.g. ... This is Bar * Bar 1 ... This makes the files more usable on their own as well, which is a great improvement! I hope this assumption is correct. Hi Bastien I have found the following issue when exporting to Latex: a headline is sometimes moved to another position when skipping a level in the hierarchy. The following demonstrates the problem: This is a known issue and can't be handled with the current exporter. The workaround is to stick to a logical structure. Sorry, I had missed when this was discussed. Thanks for your answer. Cheers, Tomas
