emc immunity
List-Post: emc-pstc@listserv.ieee.org Date: 28 June 1996 From: Joan Legerski e-mail: winds...@ix.netcom.com Message: Please see the attachment concerning EMC immunity issues. Thank you, Joan Legerski List-Post: emc-pstc@listserv.ieee.org Date: 6-28-96 I would like to find some names of consultants that are very familiar with the EMC directive and in particular the immunity standards. The company I am working for manufacturers floor polishers, carpet extractors, wet dry vacuums, and floor scrubbing machines. Most of the machines are controlled by mechanical switches and relays and several people at our faciltiy are in the opinion tha t we do not have to do the immunity part of the testing because it is impossible that the field strengths specified in the immunity standards cannot change the operating status of the machines being tested. If anyone knows of any consulatants that could verify this reasoning we would appreciate it. Sincerely, Joan Legerski Agency Approvals Engineer
Re: HP App Note
App note number on the front cover is 1273, but if you call HP they probably will not be able to track it by that... You need the number off the rear cover: 5964-1917E. I don't know about the web site. Try the plain ol' phone at 1 800 452 4844. Jon D. Curtis, P.E.
