Re: [PSES] Test Report Forms for IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1 3rd Edition
Brian, I believe UL customers can download the national deviations for free (well it is not really free if you are a UL client I guess) using the SCCL even if you have not purchased the standard itself from UL. Do not know if CSA or the others provide the same service. __ Dan Roman, N.C.E. mailto:dan.ro...@ieee.org -Original Message- From: Kunde, Brian [mailto:brian_ku...@lecotc.com] Sent: Wednesday, April 10, 2013 1:01 PM To: EMC-PSTC@LISTSERV.IEEE.ORG Subject: Re: [PSES] Test Report Forms for IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1 3rd Edition Thanks for the information but I'm getting different answers from different people. I emailed the IEC off their website to ask them but no reply after several days. I purchased a copy of the IEC 61010-1 3rd Ed several years ago. You can only buy a basic IEC TRF on iec web page. TRFs are available free of charge if your laboratory is a member of CB scheme. You can ask your certification body for support. Each certification body and CBTL has access to on-line CB Bulletin on CB scheme web page, where are published all national deviations. Therefore each laboratory is including national deviations into IEC TRF. I hope it helps. [PSES] How to determine EU RTTE class.
I am looking for advice on how to determine the EU RTTE class of a product. The product has a base station and a sensor. The battery powered sensor can be taken out of the base station and used elsewhere to do its sensing thing, and then be brought back to the base station for charging and uploading of the sensed data. The nominal transmit frequency for sense data communication is 1700 KHz +/-100 KHz. The modulation scheme uses On-Off Keying (OOK). The nominal baudrate base station to sensor is 1,000 Hz. The nominal baudrate sensor to base station is 8,000 Hz. Based on this information, can someone help me understand which RTTE class this product is, and why?
