Dear Doug, I learned that China prohibits carrying e-scooters and e-bikes to their houses and even entering the lifts of the building for storage/charging. Since the battery capacity is much bigger than the li-ion battery using in normal portable devices, the battery and the charger must comply with rigid safety requirements. Do not recommend buying unknown brand products in this type of goods.
