[PSES] Dimensions of a Reverberation Chamber

2017-10-13 Thread Murisa, Egide
Dear Experts,

In the IEC 61726:2015 standard: Screening Attenuation measurement by the
reverberation chamber (RC) method;
Section 6.1 concerning the shape of the RC states that 'A perfect cubic shape
should be avoided for optimum performance at lower frequencies'.
However, I have read in an article that none of the RC dimensions should be
equal or multiple of each other.

Is there any concerns for a reverb chamber with two equal dimensions, let's say
3.0m long x 3.0m wide x 2.4m high?

Thank you,

[PSES] EMC TEST FACILITY

2017-08-24 Thread Murisa, Egide
Dear Experts,
I'm not sure if this is the best way to ask this question but I was wondering
who is the best turnkey supplier for a commercial 3m chamber or a CISPR25
chamber in North America?
In terms of exceeding all automotive and other commercial standard
requirements, best quality and durable absorbers, test systems, support,
training and things like that. Please advise based on your past supplier
experiences.

Regards,

Egide Murisa

Re: [PSES] Job Opening for EMC Engineer

2013-11-18 Thread Murisa, Egide
Hello EMC Experts,

Now that Don listed the job announcement, it got me thinking to ask you guys
who have been in this industry for a long time.
EMC Engineering is not something that is being taught in colleges; at least not
at the University I just graduated from.
After a few months working as an EMC/EMI Testing Intern, I became fascinated by
this engineering field, I feel like I want to do this my entire life.

However, companies do not want to hire entry level engineers as EMC Engineers,
they want several years of experience.
As experts, would you advise an entry level engineer like me to pursue this
career right away, or first find another Electrical Engineering position first
to gain an experience in the industry? Your responses will be highly
appreciated.

Regards,

Egide
