We are growing our Compliance team and are looking for a compliance test 
engineer to help us with thecertification of our wireless products.

 

JobResponsibilities:

·        Learn how tooperate Tarana’s equipment and drive in-house execution of 
test plans of ourproducts

·        Methodicallyconduct the in-house tests, compare against the emission 
limits, and documenttest results for internal review

·        Work closely andcoordinate compliance activities with the compliance 
manager, system engineers,HW engineer, program managers and the operations team

·        Prepare DUT forformal certification at an outside certification lab

·        Help with DoC andpaperwork submission / letters / BOM / block diagrams 
to the TCB, FCC orexternal labs

 

RequiredSkills And Experience:

·        Must have AS/BS orequivalent technical degree

·        1-2 years ofexperience in Regulatory Compliance

·        Experience withEMC, RF, and safety certification/testing

·        Detailed operatingknowledge of spectrum analyzers, signal generators 
and network analyzers

·        Familiarity withFCC, IC, CE, UL, CB and other global regulatory 
standards

·        Experience with EUdirectives, EN standards/certificate process

·        Knowledge of someof the following standards: FCC 47 CFR Part 15b, ANSI 
C63.4; ICES-003; CISPR32; EN 301 489-1; EN 62368-1

·        RF Experience inFCC 15E is a plus

·        Knowledge of FCClicensed bands test requirements is a plus

·        Ability to help outwith other lab activities, calibrating and building 
fixtures

 

Theideal candidate should have the following qualities:

·        Good communicationskills and ability to interface with cross 
functional teams, vendors and thirdparty test labs

·        Self-starter,positive attitude, detail oriented, organized and 
responsible

·        Sense of urgency toget required regulatory certification
