Re: [PSES] RED guide

2017-05-31 Thread Charlie Blackham
Amund

This section was in the final draft but deleted from the published version.

It is expected that this topic will be discussed at TCAM this week and was
briefly discussed at REDCA last week and may well be added to the RED guide as
and when an update is issued (updates are expected, but there's no timescale at
present).

EMC aspects of combined equipment are discussed in ETSI EN 303446-1 and EN
303446-2.

Chapter 1.6.3.1 Non-radio products which function with radio equipment To be
finalised.

We still assume at the Non-radio product shall conform to its standards and
directives.

The radio equipment / module shall conform to its standards and RED.

Together, radio module mounted into the Non-radio product, shall (or

should) be tested for radiated spurious emission, to check any spurious
influence when radio module in included.

Makes sense as long as we ate waiting for a description in chapter

1.6.3.1 of the RED guide?

Cheers!

2. A REDCA notice stated that comments on the draft were being accepted through
April 14. Does anyone know of a final publish/release date?
