RE: Frequency Allocations for EU Countries
Allocations are in thew process of harmonisation, but different for any country A good starting point is the ero site ; look under frequency plans. http://www.ero.dk A not harmonised frequency use requires notification by country. This is a somewhat unclear process -even to the authorities- that requires you to mention (notify) your product to the authorities if not using a not harmonised frequency, where the authorities should reply within 4 weeks if this is offensive for there spectrum protection. Getting no answer does not guarantee however that your product may be used. You may sell everywhere in Europe though based on the CE mark. GSM, DECT , SRD (not all) are examples of harmonised frequency allocations. Be prepared for exceptions. Re: Frequency Allocations for EU Countries
Scott, Here is the link to get a copy of ERC Report 25 (EU Frequency Allocation): www.ero.dk/EROWEB/FM/ECA-Lisboa-2002.pdf It is not a nice color chart but has everything you need (from 9kHz to 275GHz). Hope it helps. Leslie All, I have a question regarding frequency allocations for the European Union countries.
