Three-phase mains emissions testing
Esteemed homologists, Is anyone familiar with the requirements for conducted emissions testing on three-phase mains? Can one impoverished tester insert one rented (30A-capable) LISN to each line in turn, or must the LISN involve all three lines simultaneously? CISPR 16-1 is a little vague on this issue. I agree with Mr. Richards. Not placing the other LISNs in-line would affect the measurement on the LISN that was in-line. All the LISNs not being measured must have the measurement port terminated by a 50 ohm load. You can either use a LISN that has all three phases, or you could use multiple single-conductor LISNs.
