Yes - I use a Telemecanique ATV21HU30N4 3Kw flux vector drive on the
lathe. Works with analogue voltage input or modbus. I'm using analogue
with a simple breakout board and commanded speed to actual speed track
near enough for me. For instance if I command S500 spindle actually does
510rpm, S1000 does 1000 rpm exactly.

Works fine for me using a Toshiba VFD controlled from a Pico Systems setup.

IIRC LP 107 comes in a squeeze tube, you cut off the end of the spout
and screw it into the provided opening. Then squeeze the tube while
shifting the lever back and forth.

Does the VFD accept analog input?

I use an Automation Direct GS2 VFD on my Series 1 BP. LinuxCNC has a
component to control the GS2 via modbus.

[Emc-users] Hi All; I have two questions on Bridgeport's manual variable speed head.

2013-06-17 Thread Don Stanley
1- Has anyone used a VFD to control the spindle speed via the G code?

2- Does anyone know a source for the lubriplate #107 recommended on the
units service placard? Or an compatible alternative?

Thanks
