[Emc-users] Repository problem with linuxcnc-dev

2020-03-10 Thread Leonardo Marsaglia
Hello guys,

I'm planning to keep using Wheezy until I can test more another distros.
Anyway, I've just installed LinuxCNC 2.8 and everything worked ok except
from the linuxcnc-dev packages. When I try to install those it says there
are some packages broken and points me to python-serial.

I know this is a really stupid problem but I couldn't find a solution for
at least a similar problem in google. And the ones I found are from ubuntu
Lucid or so..

Thanks as always!

I already have them routed to archive.debian.org but it doesn't work. When
I refresh synaptic I get this error:

Release file for
http://archive.debian.org/debian-security/dists/wheezy/updates/Release is
expired (invalid since 335d 2h 5min. 49seg.). Updates for this repository
will not be applied.

You will just have to completely deselect the security archive.

You can also ignore the expiry warning with switch -o
Acquire::Check-Valid-Until=false

For example

sudo apt-get -o Acquire::Check-Valid-Until=false update
