Same applies. Unless you have high draw encoders, you dont need the aux 
power on the 7I33 either, but if you do it must come from the PC (the 5I20 has 
a terminal block with PTC current limited bus 5V power for this purpose)

Yes You should not apply anything but PC power (from 5I20 for example) to the 
7I40. It unlikely that this is needed unless you have long flat cables (>3 ft) 
or so or high current consuming encoders
