That got here late on the 2nd my time. Nothing since until this exchange.

Trouble pushing the electrons uphill, maybe. Prior to this thread,
there was one on "OT: Wire feeder on screw forging machine" as recently
as July 3, arriving here down under. But admittedly a 5 day gap since
then. That could just be meatspace priorities, what with summer on the
top half - that's a quiet time on a number of lists. (And down here, I'm
just back from a week on the farm, fetching firewood to keep the heater
stoked.)

I have not seen anything either, here in the UK.
Maybe everyone is either making BBQs or watching the World Cup football?
In my opinion, there is too much danger in a BBQ, and I never understood 
football anyway, so I'm painting walls outside, and machining compound angles 
in aluminium blocks when its too hot.
