[E-devel] [RFC] Eina need to be renamed
Hi guys, We just discover that Eina was already used by a GNOME/GTK application and library ( http://www.gtkfiles.org/app.php/Eina ). So we need to do a little rename. The new name should be easy to remember, typo prone and short. It would be cool if it mean something like the previous one, but that not really a requirement. Ah, and of course it should start with a 'e' :-) So what name do you suggest ? -- Cedric BAIL - This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100url=/ ___ enlightenment-devel mailing list enlightenment-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-devel

[E-devel] Using Eina_List with eet
This is a bit of a continuation from the previous mail. I'm trying to use Eina_List with eet. So according to eet_suite.c, I do the following: EET_DATA_DESCRIPTOR_ADD_LIST(_ev_config_edd, Edje_Viewer_Config, recent, recent, _ev_config_edd) I didn't know what to put as a subtype, so I put the edd, just how eet_suite does it. However, when I invoke eet_data_write, the program segfaults, ending in eina_inline_list.x:55 (eina_list_data_get) It cannot access an Eina_List pointer, that is passed by eet_data_put_list. When I invoke eet_data_write, the recent list can be accessed just fine. So can anyone give me a clue as to why this is happening? - This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100url=/ ___ enlightenment-devel mailing list enlightenment-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-devel

[E-devel] Suggestion: Resolution Independence to e-toolkits?
Hello enlightenment team, I hit a doubt and I would ask the developers if the idea would be feasible or even useful. There is a time I read about the implementation of resolution for independence of the fonts on GTK +. I found it very interesting, so I thought if this would be useful in the enlightenment or in ETK or EWL. Reason? By testing program of the EWL (ewl_test), I saw that the calendar widget (cal), to be scaled, is not the font of the characters of the day changed, which gives him something awful. It would be very interesting if the size of the characters follow the proportion of the size of the window. A hug from a grateful user of enlightenment. obs: I am sorry for my bad English. It is the fault of the google translate.
