Hi everybody,

Can anyone correct a typo in EWeather?
Celsius is written Celcius (c instead of s) in
src/module/e_mod_config.c, line 221.

Thanks

Olivier

Hmm, you should still be able to access svn. All of the devs still have
access.

 Celsius is written Celcius (c instead of s) in
 src/module/e_mod_config.c, line 221.

I just wanted to fix this but it seems Oliver was using an old code
base. Line 221 does not have Celsius in it. 213 has but is spelled
correctly. No mis-spelled Celcius in the whole file.

I'm able to access as anonymous via http, But since I had to migrate my
system I do not have my local repo anymore and I don't remember how to
access with my dev account. I've tried with
svn+ssh:\\maxe...@svn.enlightenment.org but looks like it doesn't work.

I've not asked anyone because all the stuff was moving to git, but I'm
seeing that it takes more time than I thought so maybe it's better if
you tell me how to access as a dev :)

[E-devel] problem with evas_objects_in_rectangle_get function

2013-04-25 Thread LP
Hi,

I am trying to get widget tree from elm_win object. I was using
evas_objects_in_rectangle_get to do this. On evas, elementary == 1.7.1 I
was able to get evas objects and filter out non elementary widgets from
list. On upstream version of libraries I get only one edje object on the
list. I am not sure if this is intentional. Below is my example code
(basically it is one of examples).
Since elm_win does not inherit container behavior is it a better way to get
widgets from win ?
Am I missing something important here ? I did not expect so different
behavior on upstream code.

#include Elementary.h
#include stdio.h
static void
on_done(void *data, Evas_Object *obj, void *event_info)
{
elm_exit();
}

EAPI_MAIN int
elm_main(int argc, char **argv)
{
Evas_Object *win, *box, *lab, *btn;
win = elm_win_util_standard_add(hello, Hello);
evas_object_smart_callback_add(win, delete,request, on_done, NULL);
box = elm_box_add(win);
elm_box_horizontal_set(box, EINA_TRUE);
elm_win_resize_object_add(win, box);
evas_object_show(box);

lab = elm_label_add(win);
elm_object_text_set(lab, Hello out there world!);
elm_box_pack_end(box, lab);
evas_object_show(lab);

btn = elm_button_add(win);
elm_object_text_set(btn, OK);
elm_box_pack_end(box, btn);
evas_object_show(btn);
evas_object_smart_callback_add(btn, clicked, on_done, NULL);

evas_object_show(win);

// dump widget tree
elm_widget_tree_dump(win);

int x, y, w, h;

Evas *evas = evas_object_evas_get(win);
evas_object_geometry_get(win, x, y, w, h);

Evas_Object *o;
Eina_List *l, *olist;
olist = evas_objects_in_rectangle_get(evas, x, y, w, h,
EINA_FALSE, EINA_TRUE);

EINA_LIST_FOREACH(olist, l, o) {
fprintf(stdout,Item type %s %p\n, evas_object_type_get(o), o);
if (eo_isa(o, EDJE_OBJ_CLASS)) {
const char *file;
const char *group;
edje_object_file_get (o, file, group);
fprintf(stdout,edje file: %s group: %s\n, file, group);
}
}
eina_list_free(olist); olist=NULL;

elm_run();
elm_shutdown();
return 0;
}
ELM_MAIN()

Thanks in advance,

[E-devel] Building python-efl

2013-04-25 Thread Massimo Maiurana
I was trying to build python-efl and this is what I get:

===
Error compiling Cython file:

...
:rtype: str or None

cdef const_char *cmd = ecore_exe_cmd_get(self.exe)
if cmd != NULL:
return cmd
 ^

efl/ecore/efl.ecore_exe.pxi:468:22: Cannot convert 'const_char *' to
Python object
===

Also, when the build was based on autogen.sh I was able to set prefix
installation (/opt/e17 in my case), can I do the same with setup.py?

Hi,
Tried to build under updated Ubuntu 13.04 system and got failures that are
logged in this bug: http://trac.enlightenment.org/e/ticket/2339

This patch fixes the issue, but I'm not 100% sure that I'm checking in the
correct place.

Have a good day,

[E-devel] EFL 1.8

2013-04-25 Thread Cedric BAIL
He

We are getting closer to the release and I don't feel confident to do
it in one week. I may want to postpone it by a week or so. By looking
at the todo ( https://phab.enlightenment.org/w/efl_and_elementary_1_8/
), we still have a few items to do :

- review ephysics in edje (would like to have more example and some
that can be used daily like an edje background for E).
- review eldbus (we also need to put acidx logo in its doc).
- doxygen css should match our website
- dark theme need more work
- evas loader need to have a public api (should land this week)
- improve speed of scrolling object (should land next week)
- mapbuf detecting the complexity of child object and turning itself
off in auto mode
- reduce memory usage on 64bits system by at least 20%

Anything missing in that list ?

Some of the stuff I am postponing for during the bug freeze period :
- event bug with clipped object when an evas_map is applied on them
- optimize rendering path of evas_map to avoid generating to big
surface when not necessary (lead to rendering failure)
- more memory reduction for 64bits system
- test examples and make sure they work
- eio crash
- alignment issue with edje group item

Anything missing here to ?

In general I would also have liked to see a tentative build on various
distribution (with a run of make lcov-check) and a test of your
preferred released application that worked well with 1.7 and should
just work as fine with 1.8. So please share your report and open task
on phab when things go wrong.

Thanks for your help,

Several of those are on gengrid or genlist, which are probably some of
the most used widgets, and thus should work correctly.

I would have put that on the bug list that need to be solved before

and the feature to be in for alpha. As for bugs, yes, they should be
killed for the release, but that we have one more month with nothing
else than bug fixing to do.
