I was using software compositor so that had no effect. Once I switched
to OpenGL (fingers cross the nvidia drivers dont take out x like the
old days) with texture from pixmap enabled it appears to be working far
better. Thanks for the pointer to help fix it!

[E-devel] black tooltips in gtk / qt

2014-03-18 Thread Adam Flott
[ sent this to the users ml, but it never made it through; have since upgraded
to master ]

I've been getting periordic and inconsitent tooltips that popup black.
The same behavior happens with menus.

- Ubuntu 12.4 (up to date and can't upgrade to a later version)
- EFL master
- Enlightenment master
- NVidia twin view

Example: http://i.imgur.com/g6fNIVe.jpg

Any idea's how to remedy this?

Any reason ~/.terminology exists?

I like. It carries the uniqueness characteristic Enlightenment's brand always
has.

Few quibbles:

 - There's no logo / title in the upper left. Seems too naked.

 - The screen shot provided doesn't show case enough of E17's beauty. I'm a fan
of large informative screen shots, so maybe have it cycle through a bunch
while the user is reading the page?

Otherwise, keep up the good work!

I removed the old Imlib2 and Evas libraries as they were way out of

I have no objection to maintaining them outside SVN. So whatever anyone is
