[e-users] e16.8 build problems, key mapping issue

The same happens with recent cvs tarballs. The binaries from http://tsldev.trustix.org/community-2.2 work well, though. The only problem was that I lost all the key combinations I had assigned with e16.7 (WIN-right for move to desktop on right, WIN-X for launch rxvt etc etc) Legacy e conf tool seems to be removed from the menu, I guess I need to install e16keyedit to configure them again? Is there a way to convert the key assignments from the e16.7 config to e16.8? I tried copying .enlightenment to .e16, but that only restored my theme settings, not the key mappings. Apart from that glitch, e16.8 (and e17 for that matter) seems very slick! -- v -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] --8--- rpmbuild --rebuild e16-0.16.8.20050313-1mn.src.rpm --nodeps Installing e16-0.16.8.20050313-1mn.src.rpm Executing(%prep): /bin/sh -e /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.39784 + umask 022 + cd /usr/src/redhat/BUILD + LANG=C + export LANG + unset DISPLAY + cd /usr/src/redhat/BUILD + rm -rf e + /usr/bin/bzip2 -dc /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/e16-cvs.tar.bz2 + tar -xf - + STATUS=0 + '[' 0 -ne 0 ']' + cd e ++ /usr/bin/id -u + '[' 0 = 0 ']' + /bin/chown -Rhf root . ++ /usr/bin/id -u + '[' 0 = 0 ']' + /bin/chgrp -Rhf root . + /bin/chmod -Rf a+rX,u+w,g-w,o-w . + '[' '!' -x configure ']' + NOCONFIGURE=1 + ./autogen.sh I am going to run ./configure with no arguments - if you wish to pass any to it, please specify them on the ./autogen.sh command line. [e-users] Eterm-0.9.3 and US International Keyboard
Hello! I decided to upgrade from Eterm-0.9.2 to Eterm-0.9.3 but found out that I couldn't get a simple ~ to show up. Let me explain: I use the US International keyboard instead of US English since I have to typeset accents very often. So that means that to get a ~, I have to press ~ followed by space bar. But it the new Eterm, it seems that it's not working. I upgraded to the latest libast of course. I had to revert to the old Eterm and libast because I need the accents. :-( Has anybody ever encountered this or has any quick fix fot it? Thanks. -- With kind regards, Didier. --- Didier F.B Casse | PhD candidate | LiMiNT Beamline Singapore Synchrotron Light Source (SSLS), 5 Research Link, Singapore 117603 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]| Web: http://ssls.nus.edu.sg --- This SF.net email is sponsored by: 2005 Windows Mobile Application Contest Submit applications for Windows Mobile(tm)-based Pocket PCs or Smartphones for the chance to win $25,000 and application distribution.
