I've finished updating e17, and I checked whether it still
had this problem by starting it without ".e" directory.
Then I played with "virtual desktop settings" and changed the
values of the vertical desktops and the horizontal ones variously
for a while, and I can't reproduce the problem. I feel it may be
fixed. Thanks, everyone.

Better you contact some maintainer of get-e.org and submit your theme to
them. i'm sure that if it is correct they'll upload it there.

[e-users] Eterm/edje_viewer

2006-11-19 Thread Luca
Hi all!

A question about eterm (just installed from cvs); when starting it
complains about a:
"Eterm: Error: Unable to load font
"-adobe-helvetica-m-75-p-56-iso8859-1". Falling back on "fixed".

Edje_viewer just installed from cvs when given "edje_viewer" to start it
segfaults.

I believe raster said before that you should just use fontconfig families like
sans to configure your fonts. There should be no reason to ever rebuild the
edje file just to change fonts. We DO have other solutions for changing fonts.

If you do not want to use fontconfig you can use font fallbacks. I have
written a small tutorial on font fallbacks here:
