[e-users] Fedora 4 packages. Unable to update.
Hi, I have been using Didier's packages to keep my e17 (Fedora 4) up to date. However over the past two months the updates have stopped happening. [e-users] E17 display screwed up.
I updated my e17 from cvs today and since then the display has been really screwed up. Even reinstalling didnt help. The module looks great in the screenshot. I installed it and loaded it but I'm not being able to see the calendar on the destop. All the configuration options are available though. When I use edit mode it also shows the presence of the calendar module but the calendar is not showing up. Any clues as to why this might be happening. Alsi in the main modules dialog the icon for the calendar module is not showing up. I installed as normal user and root both but it didnt help. In the real mode it dosent show at all on my desktop. The reason I took the screenshot in the edit mode was to show that the module was in deed loaded and enabled but still not displaying anything on the screen so that the developer Nathan could probably suggest a way out. [e-users] EFM - Dosent Detect Directories.
I just updated my e17 and all's great except for EFM which just puts a ? for the icons of all my directories and clicking on them does nothing. However the up directory icon shows so the only thin you can do is click on it until you get to / Anyway I know efm is under heavy development but I guess it does detect directories. Would be grateful to anyone who can suggest a solution. It is identifying the files rightly. I placed a jpg and a pdf and the corresponding Icons showed up. Double clicking on the directories does nothing. I do know a bit of C++ if that can help. [e-users] Has anyone got eclair to get covers or weather module to work through proxy (even unauthenticated) ?
I have been trying for weeks now. My proxy server uses authentication so I run a proxy server on my own comp which has the other proxy server as a parent and I have added my login and pass in squid.conf so that authentication i no longer req. I have exported http_proxy=localhost:80 and wget works perfectly but neither eclair nor the weather module are able to connect. Any suggestions would be appreciated. [e-users] Eclair problem with videos.
Eclair does not show video though it plays it. When the video window starts its extremely miniscule and on increasing its size it just displays a single colour continuously. The new mouse cursor is really great but when my mouse is over other applications say mozilla , gaim etc it changes shape and becomes like what it used to be when i used fluxbox. Updated Enlightenment from CVS today. Now there's some problem and it gives the following error when starting as normal user and fails to start. Xlib: extension XpExtension missing on display :0.0. Xlib: extension XINERAMA missing in display :0.0. Xlib: extension XpExtension missing on display :0.0. waiting for X server to shut down However it works fine when run as root.
