[e-users] tiny background thumbs

2004-07-24 Thread topher
Tonight, for some odd reason, the thumnails in my Backgrounds menu changed
to microscopic little dots, so I can't even see what they are. I've been
using E for *years* and I've never seen this. Any idea why it would do
that?

I'm running 0.16.7 on Fedora Core 2, vanilla distro install, rpm E install
from SF.

Re: [e-users] Easy Configuration Question

2004-10-12 Thread topher
I really like Eterm. However, the default font color is grey. How and
where do I change it to white?
Eterm -f white
that'll give you white text.

Re: [e-users] weird mouse issues

2004-10-12 Thread topher
I'm trying to get my mouse working. I use FreeBSD w/ Enlightenment
running. When I load Enlightenment, the mouse jumps around but I have
no control over it. Now, my question: do i disable the mouse in
/etc/rc.conf and then enable it in XF86Config, or the other way
around? I'm just not quite sure. Setting the various axis settings has
not helped.
Any help is appreciated.
Actually, I've had that when XF86Config listed the wrong type of mouse
protocol. For example, a wheel mouse needs IM/PS2, but if you have that
in there with a regular mouse, it'll wig out. I'm not sure if it works
that way vice versa.

Re: [e-users] Default Window Manager

2004-12-08 Thread topher
Simple question: Right now Gnome is the default window manager. I'd
like to change that to Enlightenment. How do I do that?
I like the quick hack way, I made a file in my home dir called .xinitrc
and put this in it:

exec enlightenment
