Hi,

Compiled EFL as told. I couldn't find any debuginfo catalyst rpm on the
rpmfusion repo  also no updates were done as none were available.

The flags were:

very strange, something corrupted your menu-entries... it's not NULL,
but it's an offset of a null pointer (0x8). Something wrong with
efreet, or threads used by e to populate the menu?

discomfitor, are we still using threads to populate the menu?

I don't know if one should file a bug report like this but the ticket
system is not accepting the report citing it as spam.

I compiled E17 with the following options:
./easy_e17.sh -s -k  --threads=1
--skip=emotion,b_and_w,efenniht,empris,everything-mpris,everything-pidgin,everything-shotgun,everything-tracker,penguins,winlist-ng,easyui,efbb,empower,enki,espionnage,expedite
-i --packagelist=full

ENV at compile time was as follows:

export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=$PKG_CONFIG_PATH:/opt/e17/lib/pkgconfig

The crash happens at login.

The menus do not show the system applications except for E17's
Also in the second crash desktop files did not get displayed.

I hope the crash reports are useful. Let me know for any more inputs from
my side.
Also the same revision compiled the same way on 64 bit worked properly.

The system is 32 bit fedora 17.

seems to be with openGL. Did you update it recently? can you try
another version?

would be fine to compile EFL with -O0 and get debug symbols for libGL.so.1
