The crashes issue was bit less till ESR 45.9.0 version but from ESR 52 version onwards crashes are very high. [Mozilla Enterprise] Firefox ESR - High Memory Utilization
Hi Team, We are facing a major issue in our environment that Firefox ESR consuming very high memory in XenServers 7.6 &6.5 along with Win7&10 platforms. Currently we are running with ESR 52.6.0 in production, which is very slow and the high memory usage issue is not new it is occurring from ESR 45.9.0 version onwards and we do not find the exact solution to reduce the usage for memory. Hi All, Do we restrict or lock the cache size with 350MB in Firefox via config file?. As users can click on the "Override automatic cache management" and make changes in size. So, We want to restrict the cache size. Kindly help us on this. And, we should not allow user to change it from " Remember History" to others (Never remember history, use custom settings for history) I tried hard to make changes via config file but it didn't help. [Mozilla Enterprise] High resources consumed by Firefox ESR
Hi, We are seeing high resources being used by Firefox on XenApp 7.6 servers. Due to which we are not able to distribute the users properly among all the servers. We found the issue after updated with Firefox ESR 52.5.0, However we have checked the issue with different Firefox ESR versions (52.4.0, 52.2.1 ) and found the same issue. So, it is clear that issue occurs with different versions. Kindly help us on this. [Mozilla Enterprise] Restricting the cache settings in Firefox
Hi, We are planning to restrict the cache settings in Firefox for few users (approx.. 100) via GPO. Please help us to do Kindly disable the following functions via GPO: 1. Open Firefox, Options, Advanced, Network, "Cached Web Content" The users should not be able to cross the "Override automatic cache management" function. 1. Open Firefox, Options, Privacy, "History" The users should not be able to change the drop down. The value here should allways be set to "Remember History" 1. Open FireFox, Write "about:config", Search for "browser.cache.disk.enable" The user should not be able to change the value to "false", The same should apply "browser.cache.memory.enable" 4.
