[EPEL-devel] lua5.1-lpeg for EPEL8
Hi, I'm trying to build lua-http package for EPEL8, which has lua-lpeg as a dependency. While lua-lpeg was maintained in EPEL7, it was moved to the base distribution with RHEL8. The issue is there are two versions of lua - 5.3 and 5.1. And I need the package for both lua versions. This is how the lua-lpeg package is set up in EPEL7. But in RHEL8, there is only lua-lpeg for lua 5.3. How can I resolve this situation? Do I file a bug against RHEL8 and hope the lua-lpeg package for lua 5.1 will be included in next release? Or is it possible to get an exception for EPEL8, so that I could build the package for lua 5.1 only?
