The answer here is no as EPEL does not replace packages that Red Hat ships in the base OS, Extras, and HA channels. B. Further updates means moving it up to the version that is in RHEL but not replacing it. That is up to the maintainer. They can either do so or we can retire it since it will cause build problems. C. Further updates means removing it from EPEL. This is probably the most likely scenario. -- Stephen J Smoogen. ___ epel-devel mailing list -- epel-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to epel-devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/epel-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/message/H43W7SY4B5NPQMYCQIWRV35OGX7QSS3V/

To reiterate what was said: There will be no further updates to the python-passlib package which lives in the EPEL repo for EL7. Is that correct? Thanks.
