Sounds great. Info and plans much appreciated.

Once I start using it, I'll use this list if I have any questions or
comments.

Cool! Thanks Ray.

Feedback is very welcome.

Ok. I hope to get to using it in ECF Remote Services tutorials/examples
during next two months (prior to Mars). What's the best forum for
feedback and/or questions about the impl? On this list?

I know this is an eeg question for you, but I'll ask it here because of
context: Is the expectation that R6 will be finalized in time for this
impl to get all the latest into Mars?

If I understand the timeline of Mars (which you should not count on... ),
then that is the plan right now.

Re: [equinox-dev] Jetty version for Luna?

2015-03-11 Thread Thomas Watson
Yes, Raymond and I have been working towards completing the implementation
of the Http Whiteboard specification for Mars.

The implementation is functionally complete at this point. There may be
some bugs in a few areas like setting session timeouts and I know we are
missing support for the 3.1 listener type
javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionIdListener. But the implementation is ready
to use in the latest builds. And we appreciate any advanced testing of
the implementation before Mars closes down.

Another benefit is to make sure the http service works on the latest spec
release of Servlet.

I see from M5 that Jetty 9.2.5 is there...that's great. Thanks to any/all
involved.

Question: Does/will the (presumably still Jetty-based) implementation of
the OSGi HttpService include the support for whiteboard/R6 in Mars?

Thanksinadvance,

sorry, minus some capability metadata which recently got clarified in the
spec draft.
