[Erlide-devel] Erlide running, compiling

2008-02-21 Thread go30
Hello,

I've tried Eclipse 3.2, 3.3 Erlang R10, R11 and Erlide 0.3.38, 0.3.38.1 in all
the possible combination, but I hav not managed to compile and run the Erlide
from Eclipse. My OS is Ubuntu/gutsy.
Which versions of Eclipse, Erlang, should I use to be able to do that.

Thanks,
George

The supported versions right now are Eclipse 3.3, Erlang R11 and Java
1.5. It should work with earlier versions too, but not all
functionality will be available.

I have an installation of Gutsy at home, at everything works fine.
What problems do you encounter?

best regards,
Vlad

Did Erlide install properly? The right update URL is
http://erlide.sourceforge.net/update/ and the latest version is
0.3.38.1
I see references to the old http://erlide.sourceforge.net/update32 site...

Then there's a
!MESSAGE Unable to retrieve remote reference
"http://erlide.sourceforge.net/update/features/org.erlide_0.3.38.qualifier.jar";.
[Server returned HTTP response code: "404 Not
which also points to an incomplete installation.

The rest of the errors might very well be follow-up problems.

regards,
Vlad
