[Ethereal-users] make error with 0.9.15

2003-12-04 Thread Kevin Smith

When a try to make this version in a RH system, 2.4.22 kernel I get the
following error:

b.o register.o capture.o file.o filters.o proto_hier_stats.o summary.o

Id prefer to solve this, instead of a just use the RPM answer.

I followed the INSTALL with the .tar.gz and updated all it needed (it did
pass the configure with Ethereal = yes). the Libgtk.so and libgdk.so are
both present in /usr/lib/, so I imagine it's some sort of version or corrupt
file error. I use GNOME as a GUI.

I've looked in the archives, searched Google and found a similar question
asked with no resolution.
Anyone bump into and solve, or can give me a good lead?

 What do the commands

 ls -l /usr/lib/libgtk.so
 ls -l /usr/lib/libgdk.so

 print?
