EtherLab is a specific EtherCAT master library, which is different from TwinCAT or SSC. Since your question is not related to EtherLab, you are probably best off asking at the ETG forums (ethercat.org), assuming that you have already registered there for a Vendor ID. ___ etherlab-users mailing list etherlab-users@etherlab.org http://lists.etherlab.org/mailman/listinfo/etherlab-users
[etherlab-users] EL9800 PIC interface configuration problem
Hello everyone, I am trying to configure the EL9800 board using SSC tool and TwinCAT in order to create an EtherLab application with PIC. My first approach with this method was the slave design quick guide (http://ftp.beckhoff.com/download/document/io/ethercat-development-products/ethercat_slave_design_quick_guide.pdf), which permitted to create a simple program with the onboard microprocessor. All the passages were clear and the slave worked correctly. Now I am trying to modify the number of exploited registers but the slave cannot reach the PREOP state. TwinCAT recognized error is: 'INIT to PREOP' failed! Error: 'check device state for PREOP'. AL Status '0x0011' read and '0x0002' expected. AL Status Code '0x0002 - No memory'. Anyone can help me to solve this problem? Thanks in advance for your aid.
