[Evolution-hackers] Evo 1.2 INBOX not displaying messages
When I first upgraded to 1.2 I COULD see messages in my INBOX. Then the next day when I tried, I got a message that can't display messages here (or something like that). Apparently this is because you need to subscribe to the INBOX. Today I fired up Evo 1.2 to go subscribe, and lo and behold, I can see messages in my INBOX AND I hadn't subscribed to it yet. You can see a screenshot here: http://66.62.77.8/files/evo1.2-twoprobs.png Something funny is going on. [Evolution] evolution/palm synching/multiple accounts
good morning all, I have a question regarding choosing which mail/evolution account my palm conduits synch with. I'm using evo1.2 + ximian connector on RH8.0 w/ the following pilot rpm's: pilot-link-devel-0.11.5-4.ximian.1 pilot-link-0.11.5-4.ximian.1 evolution-pilot-1.2.0-1.ximian.1 gnome-pilot-0.1.69-1.ximian.1 gnome-pilot-devel-0.1.69-1.ximian.1 I use evolution to access both an imap account and an exchange 2k account. I'm currently synching with the following conduits: e-calendar-conduit e-address-conduit e-todo-conduit The default behavior for palm-synching seems to be to hit the Exchange account and synch w/ the calendar, tasks, notes there. Manually specifying the target synch account does not appear to be configurable. is it possible to reconfigure Evolution or gnome-pilot to synch with the Local Evolution folders instead? I've mucked around in the $HOME/.gnome/gnome-pilot.d folder, but the conduit URI's are over-written w/ each synch back to the exchange path (not to mention they seem to only deal w/ last synch paths, rather than what should be synched). any ideas on how configurable these conduits are? jeff ___ evolution maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution

This belongs on the user list. and no, this is not a bug - this is the way it is supposed to be. Read the archives and/or look for closed bugs about this for explanations. [Evolution] Re: [Evolution-hackers] Evo 1.2 INBOX not displaying messages
this belongs on the user list the inconsistency you are seeing has to do with presumably the cache of folders. Evolution tries to always add INBOX to the list of folders even if it didn't find it in the returned list from the server but didn't always get it right apparently. the fix is to still subscribe to your INBOX (and/or apply my patch that is on [EMAIL PROTECTED] that auto-subscribes to INBOX if INBOX is the toplevel folder) Jeff On Sat, 2002-11-16 at 14:54, Dax Kelson wrote: When I first upgraded to 1.2 I COULD see messages in my INBOX. [Evolution] how do you pass arguments to a script that generates a signature?
Hi, I wrote a little script that can display some variations of my signature, however this require passing some arguments to the script. When I add the arguments to the name of the script in the add script dialog (Tools Settings composer Preferences Signatures Add script) I get the following error: 'please provide a valid file name'. Is this currently possible or do I need several scripts? Re: [Evolution] IMAP speed
this has nothing to do with imap speed and everything to do with etable (the widget used to render the message-list) slowness. [Evolution] default encrypt for email
hi, is it possible, to tell evo, that he can crypt mails for selected mail adresses? In other words, i have some contacts, which became only encrypted mails, but sometimes, i forget to activate this. I saw, that i can only enable as default, for an account, but not for a contact. cu denny signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
