[Evolution] evolution calendar server
hi all, i'm totally confused about what i read i the last 2 minutes: The personal calendar server (PCS) provides centralized management and storage of a user's personal calendar. Multiple clients can connect to the PCS simultaneously to query and modify the user's calendar in a synchronized fashion. WOW ! thats cool, but when searching about this feature nothing could be found. either i am that stupid or this is just an announcement for an upcoming release of evolution ? so that's what i'd like to know: - are there any information available for that calendar server ? - where to get the pkgs ? (hope it's not a commercial one...) - has anybody experiences with this server ? TIA bye joerg ___ evolution maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution

Note the Personal word, which means it is not a multi-user server, but just a server for the user's personal data. This means that you can have evolution and other apps use the same PCS for accessing their data. In fact, evolution-calendar is one of these clients, as is evolution-alarm-daemon, for instance. - where to get the pkgs ? (hope it's not a commercial one...) it's included with evolution, it's the wombat. - has anybody experiences with this server ? yes, all evolution-calendar users :-) cheers -- Rodrigo Moya [EMAIL PROTECTED] - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.gnome-db.org/ - http://www.ximian.com/ ___ evolution maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution
