Many users face the problem because they are not aware of offline state.

Just to add that this can happen because Evo decides it's offline when
fired up, although the user hasn't explicitly set it. The problem is in
systems (e.g. recent versions of Fedora) that may have a badly
configured NetworkManager. If NM is present, Evo believes its version of
whether it's online or not. The solution is either to remove NM or to
configure it correctly.

I haven't touched the calendar yet. Right now, Public Folders functionality is

How well does the calendar support work? I can access our Exchange
server just fine with POP and IMAP, so I won't use the MAPI connector
for that. What I need is meeting scheduling because that currently only
works via the Outlook web interface.

[Evolution] Openchange Revision?

2008-11-24 Thread Jeff Singleton

I noticed that the Mapi Provider page has been updated again. Are we still
using Openchange Revision 710 or is it ok to use most current?

Recently updated to latest trunk (thanks to Julien Kerihuel). Once
libmapi-0.8 is released (sometime very soon) we'd be freezing on that
version for a longer period of time.

So.. yes.. Please use the latest trunk revision of OpenChange and the
corresponding Samba GIT-revision.

Awesome! I just rebuilt Samba and Openchange to the latest. So I was hoping
you would say that :)

downgrading to autoconf-2.61 should work

 I'm getting the following error

 Step1: Preparing Samba4 system
 ./autogen.sh: running script/mkversion.sh
 ./script/mkversion.sh: 'version.h' created for

 autoheader-2.63: '/usr/bin/autom4te-2.63' failed with exit status: 1
Error in Step1 (error code 1)

Applying the Samba4 patch mentioned here http://tinyurl.com/5awb8p
would fix the issue too. BTW.. I think the patch is a little old and
only the second hunk needs to be applied.
