  Hello all,

I have an Evolution mail folder with lots of e-mails I would like to
export to some external format (txt, pdf, doc).

The thing is that I want to archive them in a CD and be able to read
them later (without the need to have Evolution installed)

  Is this possible ?

Isn't CTRL+S still actual for that purpose ?

In my evo 2.30.x the mail folder are in format of mbox (with additional
files for index etc.); mbox you can read with a lot of other MUA.

[Evolution] Re Updating Evo version concerns

2012-10-06 Thread Chris
Thanks everyone who replied re my help request.

I have since made a fresh install of Mint Debian and loaded from Synap's
Evo 3.4.3 - seems to run stable. Imported my mail and address book etc
without any issues.

Consider closed. ;)

Cheers
Chris

Please say which version of Evolution you have (look under Help-About).
The members of this list use a variety of operating systems and saying
opensuse 12.1 doesn't give enough information.

You could use filters to move IMAP mail to the local Inbox.

Another option is create a Search Folder to display a unified view of
all your Inboxes.

The Search Folder rule would just be:

   Condition: Match All

Specific Folders: add each of your Inbox folders
