Two first attempts finished with evolution hanging - I had to kill it, two next (attaching to existing process) allowed me to return to gdb, but there was no stack trace. Fifth one was an attempt to unpack ubuntus crash report and load CoreDump to gdb. All in gdb-evolution-N.txt files. Hi, I was interested mainly in evolution-data-server and evolution debug info packages - they are usually enough (with other evolution-related packages you might have installed) to get debug symbols in evolution's code. I see in the backtrace that there are passed correct pointers, valgrind also confirms that. I checked the code and the only reason I can see is that you are moving an empty folder, and you move it away from evolution, like to a Nautilus. I was able to reproduce it this way. I was not able to reproduce it otherwise, but maybe your system behaves differently. In any case, I opened a bug for you: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=705657 Thanks and bye, Milan ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
[Evolution] Emails disappearing
When I try to open certain emails, formatting message flashes briefly and then nothing. It seems to be ones that came during a certain time period. It doesn't seem to be happening now. When I view All message headers these show X-evolution-source:local. What could cause this to happen? I'm wondering if somehow the download got interrupted and the messages are lost in cyber-space. But why would the sender, recipient, subject and time info be there but nothing else? Especially since it's for about 4 or 5 emails. If the download were interrupted why would there be empty info on that many emails? Is there any way to recover the content? Thanks. ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

It's hard to say since you don't give the Evolution version, or the platform, or the type of account (IMAP, POP, etc.), but you could try Ctrl-U to see the raw message and check that the body is still there. If the messages are Mime-formatted there may be a problem (e.g. with gtkhtml) that could explain why you aren't seeing them normally. poc ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
